Every tool on this site — merging, splitting, converting, compressing, and everything else — runs entirely as JavaScript inside your own browser tab. When you drop a file into a tool, it is read directly by your browser's memory and processed there. Your file is never uploaded, transmitted, or sent to any server we operate. We have no server-side file storage, and we could not access your files even if we wanted to.
You can verify this yourself: each tool page includes a live network-activity monitor that shows the real count of network requests made while your file is being processed. It should read zero.
To do the actual file processing, our pages load a small number of open-source JavaScript libraries from a public code delivery network (unpkg.com), the same way most websites load fonts or scripts. These libraries (pdf-lib, pdf.js, mammoth.js, docx, jsPDF, html2canvas, JSZip) run locally in your browser once loaded — loading them is a one-time request for code, separate from your file, which is never part of that request.
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Like virtually any website, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information for security and reliability purposes (such as IP address, browser type, and page requested). We do not use this data for tracking or advertising, and it is separate from — and unrelated to — the files you process using our tools.
No account, signup, or login is required or offered on this site. We do not collect names, emails, or personal data through our tools.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
